#1 Julie Habets
#1 Julie Habets IBA
Hi! I’m Julie Habets, 21 years old and after finishing my study International Business Administration. I would love to be part of this faculty party to increase awareness and to encourage better information about all the different possibilities of being active and participating in extracurricular activities. Next to this, I also believe in the importance of flexibility within your curriculum. All students should be free to explore whether they want to follow courses or even a master at another field of study!
#2 Loes Obdeijn
#2 Loes ObdeijnTax Economics
My name is Loes Obdeijn and I am 21 years old! The reason that I chose Active TiSEM is because I want that every student is able to be active besides their study and to make the combination between studying and being active easier. What I would like to see more facilities to make it easier for the active students. For example, I would like to have alternatives for the mandatory lectures. also strive for more recorded lectures, also when COVID-19 ends!
#3 Floor Severijn
#3 Floor SeverijnIBA
Hi all! I am Floor, 21 years old and I am in my second year of the study International Business Administration. First of all I would like for all lectures recorded and less compulsory lectures. Every student needs to have the time and freedom to develop themselves during their studies with extracurricular activities. I would like to see that the faculty will work with internship partners, since it is very hard to find an internship nowadays without any study delay.
Lastly, I would like to have more minors in the bachelor programs of the faculty. So a student can already specialize in the field that interests them the most!
#4 Federica Vulcano
#4 Federica VulcanoEconomics
Hey, my name is Federica Vulcano, I am 20 years old and I am a second year Economics student.
I would like to represent all the active students in the Faculty Council. I will work to get more internship possibilities, especially for international students. As an international, I would also like to work to improve the integration of students from other countries. I would like to improve the Buddy System also for Europeans, so that students have someone to refer to for any issue or question about life in the Netherlands.
#5 Tijmen van der Weide
#5 Tijmen van der WeideBusiness Economics
Hi! I’m Tijmen van der Weide, 21 years old and a second-year Business economics student. I would like to see that all lectures of all courses are recorded. This will contribute to the flexibility that some students need, so they can combine their studies with their extra-curricular activities. Furthermore, I want the university to encourage more students to do an internship or a working studentship. Nowadays, internships are part of the curriculum but most of the time it is impossible to do this with study delay. I would like to see more opportunities for this part of the curriculum.
#6 Pleun Vliegen
#6 Pleun VliegenEconometrics
Hi I’m Pleun Vliegen, 18 years old and a first year Econometrics and Operations Research student. Next year I want to cooperate within this faculty party with as main focus point to make it easier for students to gain experience next to their studies. In order to stimulate this, I would like to see more flexibility within tutorials, for example offer more opportunities to receive this information elsewhere. Additionally, I want the University to continue and extend the digitalization that has now been realized due to Covid, again to create more stimulation towards Active students!
